Kids on the Rocks June 30th at Niagra Rim.

A brief description -

“Kid’s on the Rocks was started in 1990, by a dedicated group of volunteers who worked with the US Forest Service and several organizations that assist developmentally disabled “kids”. Over the last 20 years we have given thousands of people a very memorable experience in the forest that they would likely never get. We combine the talents of off road drivers, organizations who can donate and participate, and willing volunteers to help prepare the great Bar-B-Que we have at the end of the run.”

It is a great experience for all.

I plan on going up Thursday or early the Friday before.  Camping is on a first come basis but there is usually plenty of dispersed camping areas and camping at the Niagara Trail OHV Campground.

Let me know if you plan to attend so I can provide an as accurate as possible head count.

Pres Bill.

Again we’re hoping you can come join us to put smiles on the faces of the “Kids” that we take off-roading .The meeting point will be the Niagara OHV campground. Registration starts at 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM Saturday June 30th. Driver meeting at 9:15. Run Starts at 10.

To get to Niagara; From Mi-Wuk, CA, take State Route 108 east 28.8 miles to campground sign. Turn right onto Forest Route 5N01 and go 0.3 miles to an intersection. Turn right, staying on Rt. 5N01, and go 2.5 miles to campground on left. Watch for the KOTR signs to guide the way.

After the run, we will of course, be providing a BBQ lunch, followed by a raffle. After our guests have left we will up for an afternoon Drivers run.

Camping is available with 10 first come first served sites at the OHV campground and additional dispersed camping thru out the area. Our club will at Niagara beginning on Wednesday June 27th. The earlier you get there the more fun we’ll have and the better campsite you’ll get.
