Donations/volunteers sought for Panamint (from Cal4)

Event is November 8-10 near Trona, CA

It’s that time of the year again… Time to start planning for our 28th annual Panamint Valley Days. It will be in the same location as years past, off Slate Range Road, outside of Trona.

We know that last year the weather did not cooperate, with all the rain the week prior to and the wind and cold during the weekend. But it turned out to be a good weekend anyway.

We would like to invite you, your club members and friends out for another fun weekend in this beautiful part of the country. We are urging all clubs to attend this event, register, order a t-shirt, but we are also asking for donations to the kids’ and adults’ raffles. We acknowledge the donors in our program if we receive the donations before the event. On site donations are always welcome but would not be able to be listed in the program.

The funds raised from this event goes to Cal 4 Wheel to help run the day to day operations, to fund our Natural Resource Consultants and to continue the fight to keep the lands open for all to enjoy. Supporting all the Cal 4 Wheel events helps tremendously.

If you are interested in leading a run, helping with safety inspection or helping out in any way, please don’t hesitate to give me a call. Volunteers are always greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your continued support and we hope to see you out there!

FWIW, I volunteered to lead one of the runs up Isham for PVD (and also to do a nite run), and to assist with one of the runs up Cummins Cutoff.
