Morman Immigrant Trail Patrol This Saturday

The Madhatters will be manning the trailhead at Morman Immigrant Trail this Saturday handing out information for Cal 4WD.  We will take turns doing this so that everyone gets a chance to go play in the snow.   We should have excellent snow conditions following the storm that is currently blowing through.   For those of you coming from the Bay Area, Cort will be leading a caravan from the Wendys parking lot in Manteca at Rte 120 and 99.   They will be leaving soon after 7:00 AM Saturday morning.   For those coming from the Sacramento area I will be at the Placerville Starbucks at 9:30 AM and will head out soon after that.   For those that want to meet us at the trailhead take the Sly Park exit off Rte 50 in Pollock Pines.   Go right at the stop sign and follow SlyPark Road until you see the lake.  Turn Left on Morman Immigrant Trail just after the lake and follow Morman Immigrant for a couple of miles until you see us.    Hope to see a good turnout at the event.  Guests are welcome to join us.   For more information you can contact me at 510-414-5323 or tgunther@comcast.net.   I am looking forward to wheeling in some good snow for the first time this winter.
